Wakefield, RI – Easterseals RI Outpatient program has been granted $10,000 from the Roy T. Morgan Foundation to be used to support the vital work of our Outpatient therapists.

The family-centered Outpatient program opened in October 2011 and provides outpatient therapy services for children and young adults, through age 21. The program is operated by part-time staff including two part-time physical therapists, three part-time occupational therapists, two part-time certified occupational therapist assistants, and four part-time speech language pathologists. A team approach of this kind is proven the best way to meet the changing needs of the children and young adults we serve.

The program aligns with the Roy T. Morgan Foundation as it offers physical, occupational and aquatic therapies, as well as group opportunities to help focus on developing a child’s ability to perform everyday living activities by enhancing or restoring function.

Easterseals RI provides exceptional services to ensure that all children and young adults with disabilities or special needs and their families have equal opportunities to live, learn, work and play in their communities.
