Wakefield, RI — The Narragansett Lions Club hosted their annual Steak Fry on October 3, at the North Beach Clubhouse in Narragansett, raising nearly $4,000 for Easterseals RI programs and services.
Over 85 guests attended the delicious event which featured food from Arturo Joe’s, a variety of raffles which raised over $850, and entertainment from Kenny Kool Light and Sound.
“We thank the Narragansett Lions Club for championing our families who benefit from Easterseals programs and services,” said Judy Fortier, Easterseals RI Director of Development. “At a time when many charitable organizations have had to cut back or eliminate funding to local non-profits, the Narragansett Lions Club continues to support and understand the needs of the local community. We thank them for sharing our belief that all children and young adults deserve the chance to learn, build lifelong skills, and achieve their dreams.”
Easterseals RI provides exceptional services to ensure that children and young adults with disabilities or special needs and their families have an equal opportunity to live, learn, work and play in their communities. Last year, Easterseals RI served over 550 children through Early Intervention services and the Outpatient program.
