3rd Annual Clam Cakes & Chowder Raises $3,600
May 27, 2016

Nearly 125 people attended the 3rd Annual Clam Cakes and Chowder fundraiser in April at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Bristol. More than $3,600 was raised in support of Easterseals RI, which benefits children birth to age three who participate in Early Intervention services.

Guests enjoyed a delicious meal of clam cakes, chowder, and stuffies prepared by Jimmy Campagna and his volunteer team, as well as a raffle with more than 20 items.

Special thanks to Jimmy for hosting another successful fundraiser for Easterseals RI, and to the event sponsors Tony’s Seafood, Blount Clam Shack and Soup Store, and the raffle donors.

Early Intervention is a program designed to support families in enhancing the development of their infant and child (birth to age 3). Easterseals RI provides a comprehensive evaluation in all areas of development to detect early problems in learning, language, motor and social skills. Our services include occupational therapy, family training and counseling, nursing, physical therapy and speech/language therapy. All services are provided in a child’s natural environment.

"Thanks to CVS Health Champions like Jim Campagna, Early Intervention services continue to grow helping children to learn, build lifelong skills and achieve their dreams,” said Easterseals RI Director of Development Judy Fortier.
